Grocery Store Sold Knife to Knife Attacker...

TGSCOM Inc. President Eric Thompson's unfortunate twist of fate has the poor man having to defend himself over the fact that he sold a Walther P22 firearm to Cho Seung-Hui, which was used in the Virginia Tech shootings (last April), and just a few weeks ago, the sale of two 9mm Glock magazines and a holster to Steven Kazmierczak, (who killed five people at Northern Illinois University on February 14th) - all of which, by the way, were legally purchased from two of his many various internet e-stores, the two in the spotlight being www.topglock.com and www.thegunsource.com.

I will never understand the idiocy of people that believe guns kill people. It's been said a million times that people kill people, which of course is true. The mode of killing is another story. Anything can become a weapon; a knife, a baseball bat, gasoline and a match, a car, a fist, anything, which puts the responsibility squarely upon the individual and not the tool that was used as a weapon. Because firearms are deeply entrenched in our identity as a nation it always serves to spark the fire of hot debate, usually on the side of more gun laws that law abiding citizens will follow and criminals will not. I mean, Jesus, the very nature of being a criminal is that you don't do what you are told.

What I can't stand is when a law abiding citizen like
Eric Thompson has to defend himself for no other reason than to appease political correctness. He has done nothing wrong. He owns and operates various.com stores that sell guns and gun related items that are not only legal, but also our right to own.

I live in a crime infested county myself, and I cant remember the last time someone stabbed someone where the store that sold the knife had to put out a press release to defend the sale of the knife.

Is it just me?
